• Determines and implements a strategy for Private Equity products’ development, working with BNP Paribas Investment Partners and in-house distributors
• Forms strategic partnerships outside France in the form of joint ventures, lift-outs and greenfield projects with a view to production and/or distribution, relying on local BNP Paribas Investment Partners or BNP Paribas Group teams.

USA

• 2008: advised BNP Paribas SA and BNP Paribas Assurance on investing jointly in a co-investment fund managed by one of the key players in the US Private Equity industry.

GCC / MENA

• 2008: formed an asset management affiliate in Bahrain with the assistance of local teams from BNP Paribas Investment Partners to grow business in various asset classes.
• 2009: launched a MENA Private Equity fund in Bahrain.

Brazil

• 2009: structured a Private Equity fund together with local BNP Paribas Brazil teams and a major LatAm Private Equity house to invest in Brazil. The launching is expected in 2010.

India

• Laid the groundwork for mid-market funds together with local teams from BNP Paribas Investment Partners.

Asia

• 2007: advised BNP Paribas SA on investing in a Singapore-based pan-Asian fund of funds.
