The objectives of the Funds of Funds team are:

• enable investors to reap the benefits of an allocation to Private Equity, including attractive returns, low correlation to conventional asset classes, long-term outperformance to other assets, and low volatility,

• control risks via the diversification obtained with a fund of funds while taking advantage of a selection of high performing funds,

• invest in the European Private Equity market, characterised by diversity, upside potential and the quality of the assets financed.

The Funds of Funds team develops long-term relationships with investors by designing products that address their needs and accommodate their constraints.

• Fundexi Europe II, with a size of €223 million, closed in 2006 and is now fully deployed. This is the first fund managed by the current Team.

• BNP Paribas European Private Equity III is the successor to Fundexi Europe II. Organised as a French venture capital fund (“FCPR à procedure allegée), it is currently being raised. It was launched in 2009.
  
  Both of the funds of funds invest in Private Equity buyout and expansion funds in Europe, with an allocation to technology and secondary funds.

• Based on the fund selection activity, BNP Paribas Private Equity Funds of Funds team has the ability to provide clients with a specific investment advice and develop dedicated products for them.
